- 1 tbsp avocado oil or vegetable oil
- ½ lb ground pork (or chicken, shrimp, or tofu)
- 3 cups shredded green cabbage (packed)
- 1 carrot, julienned or grated
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for GF)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp sugar
- Pinch of white pepper (or black pepper)
For Assembly:
- 12–16 egg roll wrappers (found in refrigerated section)
- 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
- Oil for frying (avocado, peanut, or canola)
🌿 Vegetarian? Use crumbled tofu + mushrooms.
🥛 Gluten-free? Use rice paper wrappers (technique differs slightly).
